This, is the deck that won Japanese nationals, and can beat any deck! IF you can time your retreats, evolutions, healing, and awesomeness. You can win any game....
AND IF YOU DON'T GET OHKO'ED BACK! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Mega Sceptile

3 Mega Sceptile-EX
2 Spinarak

4 Professor Sycamore
2 N
2 Lysandre

4 Ultra Ball

3 Trainers' Mail
2 Mega Turbo
2 Professor's Letter
2 Energy Retrieval
1 Super Rod
Pokemon: 8
Grass Energy
Yeah, not the best deck ever... Not my version anyway.... Uuuummm..... RIGHT! Onto the matchups and Interesting cards!.......Hi.
2 Professors Letter, 2 Mega Turbo, 1 Fisherman, AND 2 Energy Retrieval??!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!

Now, I play so many Energy searching cards, because if you get one-shot by something, you need the energy from the discard pile, and you need to be consistently attacking Mega Sceptile, or you run out of steam, and you don't wanna run out of steam. Especially not in this format. Where you have Mega Mewtwo, and Volcanion. Volcanion literally being part-steam, so it can never run out of steam.
Yeah, that was short, now for the matchups:
Mega Sceptile V Vespiquen
Yeah, they hit you for weakness, and you can not one-shot them when they have Klefki, or when you attack them with normal Sceptile-EX, so yeah, auto-loss? I still wouldn't say so, cause if you knock out the Flareon giving them the weakness, you can pull out the win, and that's relying on the fact that they don't have enough Pokemon in the discard pile already.
Mega Sceptile: 29%
Mega Sceptile V Volcanion
Oh no, another deck that can one-shot you with weakness, and isn't any easier to beat. YEP!! Your worst matchup, and it's good, and consistent. Yeah, you may be able to win, by targetting Shaymin's and Volcanion-EX's, but those are your only win conditions, i'm afraid.
Volcanion: 27%
Mega Sceptile V Mega Mewtwo
Mega Sceptile V Mega Scizor
Mega Sceptile V Xerneas (both)
Mega Sceptile V Quad Zoroark
Mega Sceptile V Dark-Box
Mega Sceptile V Yanmega
Now, you should in theory win this matchup, you can 2 shot their Yanmega, and 1 shot what partner they have with it, but they do threaten 2 shots, which doesn't matter, when you're able to retrieve all energy from your discard pile, and heal all damage! So, they shouldn't win.
Yanmega: 88%
Mega Sceptile V Carbink
You should again, win this matchup, you hit weakness, can OHKO a Zygarde-EX if they don't have a Fighting Fury Belt, and can have Shaymin-EX's off the board like that! (That's my personal favourite thing about Mega Sceptile, it can one-shot Shaymin's!) But, under very unusual circumstances they can one-shot your Mega Sceptile-EX with this combo: 4 Strong Energy, And 2 Regirock-EX, Or swap it over, OR! Power Memory, and Strong Energy/2 Regirock-EX, which can hurt, but you must've hurt them last turn if they had a Fighting Fury Belt to survive that attack, and they must- okay, this has gone on long enough, Here is the percentage win chance against Carbink....
Carbink: 90%
Mega Sceptile V Vileplume-Box
Anyway! Thank you for reading this article through and through, and remember to comment down below any other ideas I should have for my next post, tomorrow it'll be Mega Scizor, which will have more explained matchups, and more interesting matchups, as it is a meta counter deck. So, stay tuned for my next few daily posts! And, remember, TARGET THOSE SHAYMIN'S!!!
