The best deck this format, atleast, until Karen comes out? We're not sure how the archetype wonder will deal with Karen, or if it will effect it at all.
But now, to the decklist:
Vespiquen

Pokemon: 29
4 Talonflame
4 Vespiquen
4 Combee
2 Zebstrika
2 Blitzle
2 Vaporeon
1 Flareon
2 Eevee
4 Klefki
4 Unown
Trainers: 22
4 Professor Sycamore
2 N
2 Lysandre
1 Giovanni's Scheme
4 Ultra Ball
4 Acro Bike
4 VS Seeker
1 Switch
Energy: 9
4 Double Colourless Energy
5 Fairy Energy/Water/Fire
I just one my weekly league best of three with this exact decklist, and even without Shaymin-EX, this deck works well, last week, we mixed up the age divisions, Senior and Masters, First round, I actually versed Primal Groudon, first game I donked him, second, he scooped, and then changed his deck for a fun game, Dark, and I won.
The second round, I versed another Dark deck, but I setup too fast, even though he played Shaymin-EX! I sweeped the first game, then the second, he put up a two prize card fight, but in the end, I won. Third and final round, I versed the national champion himself, and man was I scared, in fact, the first game I lose! The pressure's on, and I pull it out, third game, and we both started with Talonflame! (He was playing Lucario) but, he wanted the evolving turn, and went first, I found that Flareon could hit weakness on Lucario, so I set-up an Eevee, as soon as I could, we both setup good, he got everything, and I got everything! But because I went second, he let my Talonflame attack first, and so, I took the first prize card, and then it went to 2 prizes my end, and 4 his, and I'd lost all my Vespiquen to the discard pile!
So, he misplayed, he played Captivating Poke Puff, and placed down my Blitzle that I forgot to play down myself, and gave me the evolving turn that I needed, so I Giovanni Schemed, and knocked out his Lucario with my Zebstrika, it was beautiful. But, this is where it gets hard on my end, he decides to try and stall me out, by Lysandreing my Flareon out! Later, though, after 2 N's, and then a Sycamore, I thought I'd won, I hadn't, his Riolu wasn't going to get knocked out by my Zebstrika, and we continued the game, he Lysandred my Flareon again! But I had a Double Colourless Energy in hand, a Switch, and a Fairy energy, and that was game for the final prize card. I was so happy! Beating the national champion, winning the league itself, beating my rival, winning it on my first try with the deck, and having fun!
Anyway, here are the match-ups, and interesting techs and cards:
Giovanni's Scheme? Like you need anymore damage!

Now, I decided to play Giovanni's Scheme because of the unexpected 10 damage off situation, and that it's handy dandy if you need to draw to 5 cards. Yeah, i'm sorry that's it! :(
No Shaymin-EX? That's stupid!

I hate Shaymin-EX, not really, I just think that they are too much of a target, their low HP, and that AZ and Super Scoop Up are now rotated, you absolutely have to Sky Return it out of there! And this is a non-EX deck, and Shaymin-EX is an EX!.... And I hate Shaymin-EX.
Just a question, but, why no Float Stone, and 1 yes, 1! Switch!?

I don't need to retreat that much, because my Pokemon have 0-1 retreat cost, and if I run out of energy, and the opposition tries and stall me out late game, I need either a Float stone, witch they'll Lysandre a Pokemon without a Float Stone, and then win. No, I don't want them to win, so I play Switch, also under the fact that status conditions are getting more popular, like sleep, and paralysis.
5 Basic Energy? Wassup wid dat??!

I think that if we don't play Special Charge, Revitaliser, and Puzzle Of Time, we should definitely play Basic Energy. Also when under Chaos Wheel, and Hand Block lock, we should still be able to attack right? And we play 1 Switch, no Float Stone, and we want to be able to retreat. That's also why we don't play Pokemon Ranger.
Why don't you play Pokemo- oh, nevermind.
Why do you play Flareon and Vaporeon, and an unstable line of it?

It allows me to beat Volcanion because of weakness, Lucario and Mega Sceptile because of weakness, and because it's hilarious when I start with Eevee, and my opponent doesn't know what i'm playing. And an unstable line? I need more Pokemon. To feed my discard.
Matchups:
Vespiquen V Volcanion
Vespiquen V Xerneas (Both)
Lysandre the Xerneas, then steamroll through their deck, and if we are talking about Xerneas-Box, then knock out the Giratina('s) a-
AND TARGET THE SHAYMINS!!!
Rainbow Road: 90%
Xerneas: 90%
Vespiquen V Magnezone-Box
Vespiquen V Vileplume-Box
Vespiquen V Quad Zoroark
I am not too sure how this game would go, but it depends who gets the evolving turn, and who can keep attacking, and they play Shaymin-EX, so target those.
Quad Zoroark: 50%?
Vespiquen V Dark-Box
Vespiquen V Mega Sceptile
You have Flareon to ensure OHKO's on Mega, and normal Sceptile-EX, and you have Klefki, and they play Shaymin, so-
TARGET THE SHAYMINS!!!!
Mega Sceptile: 80%
Vespiquen V Mega Mewtwo
Vespiquen V Mega Scizor
You can ensure knock outs on a Mega Scizor-EX with Flareon, and you can OHKO their Shaymin-EX's, so you are the favourite to win this game, however, if you can't setup quick enough, or start badly, then, you can lose, but in a best of 3 you should win.
Mega Scizor: 85%
Vespiquen V Carbink
Weakness, auto win
Carbink: 99%
Anyway, I hope you like this deck review and report about this Tier 1 deck from my weekly league this week! Comment down below other deck profiles I should do!
