Hello, all of the gossip, let's drop it, we go and get some compliments, running around and getting smacked by a big fat FISH!! A-...... Uh, whoops, forget that just happened, anyway, AHEM!! Thank you, sorry about that, anyways, prepare to get wet willied by the firething!! Volcano!! I mean- Volcanion!!

Here's my friends' list!!

VOLCANION

Pokemon: 12

4 Volcanion

1 Entei

4 Volcanion-EX

3 Shaymin-EX

Trainers: 37

3 Scorched Earth

4 Professor Sycamore

2 N

2 Lysandre

1 Fisherman

1 Pokemon Ranger

1 Hex Maniac

2 Float Stone

3 Fighting Fury Belt

1 Escape Rope

4 Trainers' Mail

4 Ultra Ball

4 VS Seeker

4 Energy Retrieval

1 Professors Letter

Energy: 11

Fire Energy

Now, this is a how you say a- 'consistent' type of Volcanion, you'll rarely miss an energy a turn, and you draw well most of the time, and you beat almost anything!! Here are some of it's unusual techs and cards:

Entei:

This is, as you see, to mainly counter Rainbow Road Xerneas and Colourless Mega Rayquaza. We focus on using its second attack than anything else against such decks, and we can use Steam Up for massive damage against all archetypes of any kind. And I guess if you want too, you can use it's first attack too power up a few or so turns quicker.

Energy Retrieval:

This is more about the high-count yes? Well, to consecutively Steam Up, and Scorched Earth, with little to no draw-back, you have to have cards like Fisherman, but what if, after all of those cards, drawing, and digging for more energy, it fails? well, then you can Sycamore, knowing you can still get energy from your discard pile, and get an energy that turn.

No Hoopa-EX?:

Now, why do we not play the EX hoarder? and i'd say it's because that you have low bench space, targets, and dead draws, that you don't need Hoopa-EX to grab you the Volcanion's quicker, also that you don't want your opponent to have another Lysandre target staller to top off Volcanion-EX's high retreat cost, with a Pokemon with 2 retreat cost, and 2 turns to retreat, this can get costly in the late game when you have drawn so many cards and the fact you only play 3 'switch' cards.

Now the match-ups:

Volcanion V Mega Mewtwo

I think it's very much in Mewtwo's favour, however, in a way, Volcanion can beat Mega Mewtwo with the following cases: Target their Shaymin's and Hoopa's, so you get those, and target the un-mega-evolved Mewtwo's.

OR!! JUST BEAT THE HECK OUT OF 'EM!!

Mega Mewtwo: 55%

Volcanion V Mega Sceptile

You hit weakness, but if you have some horrible, and I mean horrible luck both games, then yeah, you may lose due to the sheer speed of Mega Sceptile.

Mega Sceptile: 90%

Volcanion V Xerneas-(Both)

Now this is tricky, you have to one-shot a lot of their main attackers, but, target their 1 or 2 Shaymin's, and you should in theory, be in the clear, however!! You play a little too many EX's so, though you can OHKO their Main attackers, they can also one-shot you back!! SO HIT THEIR SHAYMIN'S HARD!!........ Or, just, you know, Steam it up a bit. (That's if they're playing Rainbow Road) and if they're playing Xerneas-Break, you shouldn't have too much problem with it, since they are much, much, slower than you.

Rainbow Road: 75%

Xerneas-Box: 90%

Volcanion V Carbink

Now, this is awkward, but you have to only use your non EX attackers to KO a Carbink, or BREAK, or Hex, not a problem. To KO a Zygarde-EX, you need exactly 4 Steam Up's, but if it has a Fighting Fury Belt, It's impossible to OHKO it. With a Volanion, however, with a Volcanion-EX, it's easy, 4 Steam Up's!!... Oh, Okay, 4 Steam up's is asking a lot, but not impossible!!

60%

Volcanion V Mega Scizor

You hit weakness, but they can set-up Garbodor, but otherwise an almost- auto win.

Just knock out their Garbodor if it's giving you too much of a problem, and you can work around all of their Pokemon with Pokemon Ranger, and then Steam Blast, and then Pokemon Ranger again, and so-on, the fastest way too win is to Lysandre their EX's into the active spot too win.

85%

Well, it's been nice talking too you guys and gals about this fancy unpredictable deck, and it's match-ups, I hope you read more of my articles in the future, like my Vespiquen, some of which may surprise you!! Well until later, BYE!! LATER!!! :)
